About ACDO
In the rarefied world of high-end spatial design, ACDO has carved out a niche that feels less like a traditional studio and more like a laboratory for borderless, emotive luxury. Marking ten years since its inception, the multidisciplinary practice has transitioned from a rising boutique firm to a definitive voice in the contemporary design conversation, spanning the residential, hospitality, and retail sectors with a quiet, persistent elegance.
At the helm is Abe Chan, whose creative DNA was forged during a decade-long tenure at the legendary Yabu Pushelberg. That foundational rigour—a blend of international sensibility and uncompromising detail—is the bedrock upon which ACDO was built. Today, the studio operates as an intimate collective of “dreamers and tastemakers,” a team robust enough to navigate the complexities of a sprawling luxury hotel yet nimble enough to curate the bespoke intimacy of a private residence.
Our Mission
What sets ACDO apart in an era of “copy-paste” minimalism is their commitment to the narrative. For Chan and his team, a project is not merely a floor plan; it is a story waiting to be told. This ethos manifests in several key ways:
Multidisciplinary Depth: A fusion of architecture and interior design that ensures a seamless transition from structure to soft furnishings.
Collaborative Reinvention: A refusal to lean on a signature aesthetic, opting instead to treat every client partnership as a fresh opportunity for creative reinvention.
